Be wary of such 'claims' and remember that telecom operators always recommend using the official and original Access Point configuration for getting the best-possible LTE internet speed.
Follow these steps to restore your default Reliance Jio APN settings in a breeze:
HOW TO RESET JIO APN SETTINGS TO DEFAULT
The device shown here is running a stock Android 8.0; network settings are almost the same even in custom ROMs.
1) Go to Phone/Device Settings > Mobile Network > Select tab for Jio SIM > Click on Access Point Names
2) Click on '+' sign to 'create' a fresh APN
3) You can put any name in the Name field; let's use 'Jio 4G' for clarity
4) Type 'jionet' in the APN/Access Point Name field
5) Scroll down to APN Type - type or select 'default'
6) In APN Protocol - select 'IPv4/IPv6'; APN Roaming Protocol - select 'IPv4/IPv6'
7) Under Bearer - you can either select 'LTE' or leave it to the default - 'Unspecified'
8) No need to change other fields; re-check the inputs you just made
9) Save this Access Point; select the same from the APN list
10) Upon selecting the new APN, internet will disconnect and re-connect in a moment
11) Browse/launch any website/app to check if your Jio LTE internet is working
Method #2
12) Alternate way is to select 'Reset to Default' - if available under options/three dots - while in the APN list
13) This should restore the original settings, remove any other and get auto-selected
Try any of the above-given ways, you'll successfully revert to the default Jio Access Point.
